What have Hap Ki Do and the martial arts done for me?

First of all it has brought my family closer together. Instead of each of us watching a different television show or doing our own projects, we are together working out improving ourselves.

It has built confidence and improved self-esteem. Isn't it funny how when you work hard and do something that improves you, you feel good about yourself and are happier?

It has given me a sense of community and a second family. Being at the school as often as I am, I see the genuine care that the instructors have for the students.

Finally and most importantly it has made me strive to be a better person. We constantly hear about peer pressure influencing us to do things that are less than what we could be and not what we should be doing. It is just common sense that surrounding yourself with people who strive to do right , will encourage you to do right.

We are in the business of not only helping people improve their body, but their mind and their character.
