September 2005
My daughter, Catlyn, and I started taking Hap Ki Do in November of 2003. It started as a way for us to do something together and to do some physical activity. We started out just taking one class a week on Saturdays. I learned pretty fast how out of shape I really was. After about three months, we started taking a second class every week and really started to see ourselves grow in Hap Ki Do. In May of this year, my four-year old son, Jarid, started taking classes also. Hap Ki Do has placed something in common for all three of us and now, has my two-year old daughter, Loryn, involved at home. It has filled the gaps for age difference from myself to my two-year old and has given us something to do as a family.
