Master Rick Pazder was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on March 12, 1972. He grew up in South West Michigan and began his martial arts training in 1989 in TaeKwonDo and Habgido, earning his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1991.
Rick Pazder has sought out and trained with some of the best Hapkido Masters in South West Michigan, also earning black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Tang Soo Do along the way. After becoming a student of Grand Master Lee, Rick Pazder earned his sixth degree black belt through the International Hapkido Federation. Rick Pazder is also a certified Class B-1 Referee through the IHF.
Rick Pazder now lives in the Kalamazoo area with his wife and two children. He works as a Police Sergeant and he is a Defensive Tactics Instructor. Rick Pazder continues to learn and teach Hapkido at Master Lee’s school.
