KMA USA Teams
On July 22, 2007 two teams of athletes from Korean Martial Arts, LLC(KMA), competed in South Korea at the Tri-Annual International HKD Competition. This competition included 1,700 competitors from many different countries. KMA returned to Battle Creek victorious with a tie for first place for the group competition with the Korean team. In addition, many individuals received medals including: Eric Hiner, who took the gold medal in the long jump competition, Shon Nelson took the silver medal in the Kicking competition, Katie Lee took the Bronze in the Kicking competition, in the Self Defense competition the team of Alex Lee/Jared Burdette took the Silver Medal, and the team of Dean Wainwright/Heather Holmes took the bronze medal.
The KMA Team tied for the Gold medal with the Koreans in team competition.
